The continuing expansion of outdoor applications, where sound reinforcement is paramount, increasingly gives DD AUDIO new opportunities to demonstrate 30+ years of pro audio experience by redefining transducers for mobile audio. In this pursuit, DD’s all new VO-M10 has been designed with the objective of delivering long throw power with a natural midrange response that is unmatched in its class, harnessing the crowd dominating power of pro audio to overcome the noise of your engine and the environment, both on and off-road.
The motor comprises double stack 40mm thick magnet plates that have been precision CNC’d to focus an intense field on the aluminum wire coil which is wound on a non-inductive fiberglass former. This coil is suspended by a double spider for long term durability, and is met with triple aluminum shorting rings surrounding the pole piece at the top of the pole and top plate, which substantially reduces inductance, for natural, distortion free sound in a midrange application. The triple roll cloth surround is attached to a synthetic, long fiber loaded cone for high rigidity. A compact cast aluminum frame keeps the mounting depth to an incredible 4.92”, making the VO-M10 the ideal driver for motorcycle bags, shallow truck boxes, off-road tops and other depth challenged applications. Creating a 2-way, 3-way or 4-way setup is made easy with the wide bandwidth, giving you options in crafting the ultimate mobile outdoor sound system with precise and powerful kickbass that’s still light enough to pass through clear and natural vocals.
